CLENNON'S NORTHERN EXPOSURE - Therapy Dog In Training
"Moose"
This is one handsome guy that we are proud to introduce here at Family Loved Labs.
Moose is a very well-built English, dark Fox Red Lab. He has a beautiful head, sweet and kind eyes, and a temperament that is out of this world. He LOVES to retrieve, loves people, and is currently training towards his certification as a therapy dog.
Moose is Larissa's boy, and he is most at home when he is spending time with her daughter - exploring mud puddles, finding new leaves, making memories as a girl with her dog. He will go anywhere little girl goes.
Moose is out of Ember, and he is named after his sire, "Borador's Moose", and as such is a half-sibling to Larissa's first dog - Cayenne.
A little history:
At only 11 years old Larissa had been helping with raising and training our Labs of all colors (black, chocolate and yellow), but she herself had fallen in love with the fox red Lab. She researched all the pedigrees, looking through many breeders and found the dog she was looking for - MOOSE! How excited she was to have found a litter sired by this handsome stud with a female available. That little puppy was Cayenne. Cayenne was her girl she went to 4-H with (county and state levels in obedience and rally, and she also participated in agility), they did scentwork games, canine freestyle - anything in Larissa's training imagination Cayenne was able to do - and do so beautifully. Cayenne was also a fantastic producer herself, making beautiful puppies including our boy Hero.
Larissa's sweet Cayenne passed away at 14 years of age. Larissa had the opportunity to pair her girl, Ember, with an outside stud, and was delighted to do so with Moose's frozen semen.
Thank you, Judy, for allowing her dreams to come true twice with this amazing boy.
